Photography Plans and Nerding on Diving
So I've been a bit busy with this 'under-water' business. I wish I had $700 to drop on a 'dive-ready' point and shoot. But, that's not happening.
But I *do* have some plans for when I get this course all done and over with.
Mainly, I'll be shooting in black and white for a while. I just really love the stark contrast, and how punchy you can make an image appear. I don't know, there's something about it I've really been keen on lately.
Things I want to photograph soon: candid shots of performing artists, more street photography, more urban decay photography, 'sport' photography (think Parkour, skateboarding, BMX tricks), strobist in black and white (don't see much of that), trick strobist techniques (using color gels to achieve out of this world effects), and I want to take a crack at star-trail photography.
I should be a certified diver after next week, and the weather is getting better, so I should be back to 'business as usual'.
